Week 18: Hill Running, Recovery and Tapering

Since last Sunday’s Ventura Marathon training run, I feel more relaxed and less anxious about the upcoming races, which is a great thing. However, the training run was so taxing on my body, this whole week was sort of spent on recovery, which is still continuing, in fact. It took almost 2 days for my legs to function normally. Last Farthest Run on MLK Before Surf City Marathon

Surf City Marathon, last long run, Boston Marathon qualification, MLK run, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Marina del Rey,

Today was the last longest run day before the Surf City Marathon. I got up early this morning to simulate the process of getting ready for the race, which is less than 2 weeks away.
